Grooms Checklist
- Buy an Engagement Ring, make sure you know the ring size.
- Pop the question and make it a memorable moment.
- Pick out places to have the reception. Get a jump on this, because these places do get booked up very early. Especially if your wedding in the summer months.
- Choose your Best Man, Groomsmen and Ushers.
- Start working on the guest list.
- Meet with Priest, minister, rabbi, Justice of the Peace, the choice is yours.
- You will most likely be the one to choose the band or dj. Make sure you meet with these people, so you feel comfortable with their personality, and how they run the event. When you narrow it down include your bride to be on the ultimate choice.
6 months
- Planning for your honeymoon. Apply for a passport if your traveling out of the country
- Get the transportation to the ceremony and reception handled.
3 Months Left
- Outfits for the Grooms, Best Man am Groomsmen.
- Last chance to go over the guest list.
- Ensure you have all the paperwork in hand for your marriage license.
- Go to the jeweler to get your fingers measured for your wedding bands. Decide on inscriptions. Order them.
2 months
- Meet with the person performing the ceremony to finalize the ceremony details
- Plan the Rehearsal Dinner

30 days
- Purchase a wedding gift for the bride. Make sure it's a personal and memorable gift.
- Schedule Final Fittings for outfits and make sure all Wedding Attire has been ordered.
- Purchase Gifts for Best Man, Groomsmen and Ushers.
- Business and Legal Affairs, such as adding Brides name to Insurance Policies, Medical Plans, Add her name to Checking Accounts
