Planning a Wedding in Scotland

Part Organisation - We will organise as little or as much of your wedding as you wish. We can organise the church, reception or even just the hen/stag nights - as per your decision. The price of this package is determined by your requirement and will either be a fixed payment or a bank of hours for you to use at your leisure.

Emergency Service - Normally we would work with you 2-3 months before the wedding, but we are also able to help at very short notice and in emergency situations.

On the Day Service - we meet with suppliers the day before to ensure everyone know what to do and then we co-ordinate the day itself. Venus offers our clients full wedding day coordination, allowing you peace of mind on your big day. Venus will meet with suppliers and ensure that all plans are finalised the day before the event.

Organising Accessories - Are you getting fed up of trying to organise all the smaller items for your wedding. Provide us with a specification and we can source items such as cake, invitations, stationery, jewellery etc for you.

Consultation - Venus will give you an initial consultation and from that provide you with a report on 2-3 different themes for the wedding. All clients who choose this service will then be free to use this report to guide them during the preparation for their wedding.

Stag and Hen Weekends - It is the responsibility of the best man and bridesmaid to organise the bride and grooms final night of freedom, the trouble is that is a lot of hassle making all the arrangements yourself, especially if its for a weekend or sometimes one stag/hen night isn’t enough.

At Venus Wedding Plans we don’t think you should have to face the hassle of planning a hen or stag event alone as you have enough to do. We can offer to take all the stress away from you and make all the arrangements. We can put together the whole package so that all you have to do is make sure the bride or groom turn up.

Examples of what we have organised are; an action packed stag weekend in Aviemore, a hen day which included a picnic in the grounds of Haddo house with a luxury hamper followed by painting pottery to be given to the bride as a present and, with just four days notice, a spa weekend in Dundee. Anything is possible.

Finding Venues and Suppliers - Is finding the right supplier causing you a head ache? Is it the venue, a particular flower or why does no-one stock the shoes you are looking for? Give us the specifications and let us do all the research. For a fee we will be able to provide you with suppliers who are available to carry out exactly what you need throughout Europe.

Bridesmaid, Best Man and Maid of Honour Services - We can also help the maid of honour and best man to come up with original ideas for the bride and groom as well as help with their duties

All of our packages are tailor made to suit individual requirements. We will ensure that you comply with a suitable budget at the clients discretion for all our packages.
